TWO!

My baby is two! I can't even believe it! She is SO smart and fun. She knows her whole alphabet now, and she basically taught herself. She loves to learn, just like her daddy. She had a fun party, where she got to eat tacos (her fave), and to blow out the candles on her cake (she did not get it). She got a bike, a mini table with 4 chairs, clothes, an alphabet puzzle, and a baby doll. Later, she got a coloring toy, Candy Land, an alligator toy that helps her learn shapes, and a talking tea set. She loves all of her presents. Thank you to everyone who made her birthday special!

Opening her bike with the help of her cousins.
Clothes--always a baby's favorite.
Baby!
WOW! FIRE!
She looks a little scared of it.

Oh, man. Too much playing--I'm taking a little rest.

Smiling at Derek
A rat and a golf ball. Yah that's normal.

Wearin' mama's sweater. What a cute kid!

What? I'm just making sure it's on the right page for you.
Playing cars with her cousins, Brayden and Brody.

Derek holding Kate on the trampoline.

Happy daddy holding sleepy baby.

Playing with Taylor and Bryce on grandma's trampoline.
Daddy and Baby relaxing on the floor.

Home? Who says you can't go home?

I AM HOME! It's been about a month since I left good ol' Grandview Family Medicine, and I'm happier than I've EVER been! I get to spend all day with my baby girl, and it's amazing! She is more adjusted, happier, and self-assured. I feel so blessed to be able to raise my baby girl. I can hardly believe that God allows us to raise His children. It must be so hard for Him! I HATED dropping Kate off at the babysitter every day (though I had the BEST babysitter on earth--Thank you, Karen!!)! Anyway, feel free to drop by for lunch, dinner, or a treat. I HAVE TIME TO COOK!

Christmas, Continued

As you'll see in these pics, Kate really was in everyone's way. Good thing she's so cute!
Helping Grandma play Christmas Carols.

Dang, she's tall!

Aunt Tammy, getting Kate a graham cracker. Daihn-doo!

Dave, Scotto, Daddy.

Grabbing every single pen she can get her hands on, and making world's biggest mess. Awesome!

It's beginning. . .no, wait, it USED TO. . .look a lot like Christmas!

Yah, I'm late. Sorry 'bout that. Christmas was awesome, though. Just making it last longer.
Kate's fascination with the tree was short-lived, thankfully.

It was pretty darn cute when she was fascinated, though.

Here I am, playing the piano for the annual Wood children production of the Story of Christmas.

Here's a happy Kater (she's happy because she just had a nap), opening a present from her cousin.
Uncle Peh-Poouh, and Aunt Aah-Ee
Tammy's man, Alex, playing a "Charades" type game, and Kate just running right in front of him. Don't worry, she was in everyone's way.

Bathtime with SadieLou--Best day ever!

BOO!
Sadie's running away from. . . . something.
Classic Kate & Sadie. Sadie just hangs out and looks at things, Kate gets into EVERYTHING
Kate found Craisins in Sadie's bag, and is running away so I won't take them.
Kate and Sadie LOVE their bathtime, and I while I was watching both of 'em, I figured what better way to make them happy?
Sadie was quite sick this day, so doing her best to enjoy herself. Kate is seriously enjoying every minute.
Just cute.
What, Cryst? I don't feel well. Whuddaya want from me?
Kate's favorite toy. Don't worry, they're empty. We don't drug our baby.
Both concentrating very hard on their toys.
Kate thinks I'm funny, and Sadie REFUSES to look at me. Aerial shot!
Oh, I love them!
Uh, hi Laraine Jr.!
NAKED BABIES!

HOLY CRAP, SHE'S CUTE!

Ok, I KNOW I'm biased, but SERIOUSLY, I can't remember the last time I saw ANYTHING this adorable! How about you?
Daddy lovin' his baby.
Already ready for makeup
LOOK at those pigtails!
SERIOUSLY cute!
Chapstick is one of her early loves.
